Project Overview
CAMPUS SPORTS EVENTS -
Live Campus Sports Events
User Experience Design
For college students who love sports, we provide a campus sports event platform that integrates game viewing, game participation, player data, and community through the functions of live events, sports information, initiating and participating in events, viewing and creating teams, and viewing and joining clubs. For ordinary college students, we provide a campus sports event platform for more college students to participate by real-time participation in competitions, game reservations, and competition information functions. For commentators who are willing to participate in the live broadcast of games, we provide a campus sports event platform that helps commentators learn interpretation skills through free sports commentary courses and the function of registering for the game. Unlike many mixed publicity channels and missing school sports competition data.

Project BACKGROUND
Campus sports activities are a part of college life. At present, each university has its own sports events, but they do not pay high attention to intramural sports competitions and lack sufficient attraction for students. People who love sports and their friends come to watch them. The lack of sufficient design in terms of publicity, broadcasting, and post-race closing stages to attract more people's attention has led to the virtual existence of sports events that fail to achieve their purpose.

DESIGN OPPORTUNITY
How to make sports events more attractive to students? How do you attract people who don't love sports to campus events? How to promote sports events more effectively? How are sports events broadcast? How do you present a sporting event?
RESEARCH
Competitor Analysis
Sports events are broadcast in the following ways: live broadcast is shot by multiple cameras and commentaries are delivered in real time. Live graphics and text is the commentator through the platform to send real-time game situation and said. The statistics of the results after the game is recorded by reporters, photographers took photos, after the game sorted into articles published. A notice is posted on the school's website to record the results, even without pictures.

Live video app
Not for sports events. Did not take into account the characteristics of sports events on campus
Sports apps
The experience during and after the competition is better, but it is not aimed at the characteristics of college students
College community app
Aimed at college students but not functionally well, the experience is incomplete
Social apps
Lack of real-time interactivity, just pure information display

Interview
In order to increase the stickiness and experience of users, I conducted a series of user interviews, among which I interviewed 5 classmates and 2 teachers in charge of sports events in the school.

Normal Students
Most of the commentators are inexperienced college students, without the support of commentary methods and tools, and the commentators cannot publish information about the game in real-time. They often record the game during the game and write articles after the game.
Sports fans
Most of the commentators are inexperienced college students, without the support of commentary methods and tools, and the commentators cannot publish information about the game in real time. They often record the game during the game and write articles after the game.

School Team
The school does not pay enough attention. Funds, workforce, and influence are insufficient, and there is no platform to record the game video. Although the content of the game is rich, there is no unified data management platform for data analysis.

Observation
To understand the process of the competition in depth, I especially observed the whole process of competition from the organization to the end of the competition. To find more design opportunities, I adopted the observation method of aeiou to restore the true situation of a competition as far as possible.

User Journey Map

There are three types of people participating in campus sports competitions. They are ordinary students, students who love sports, and commentators. Ordinary sudents only watch the games of their friends, so they want to get information about specific games and players. Students who love sports want a professional campus game big data platform to record and analyze game data and athlete data. The narrator wants to have an interpretive platform and learn interpretation knowledge.
